Jeremy Dean, MO HD 132

Hey there! I’m Jeremy Dean, and I’m a life long Springfieldian. You can usually find me hanging out in Grant Beach or on C-Street with my fiancé, Zion, and our two pups, Bentley and Josie. My journey? Well, it’s been a mix of heart and hustle in the non-profit world. Started out as a caregiver for folks with developmental disabilities, then made my way through healthcare clinics here in Springfield. From helping out in a Family Medicine clinic to running things at an OBGYN office, I got a real taste of how state decisions trickle down to affect everyday life. These days, spend my time trying to make a difference as an Operations Manager for a local non-profit that’s all about lifting up underserved communities. Now, when it comes to politics, I’m all about finding that middle ground. We need someone in Jefferson City who’s not playing party games but fighting for what’s right.

Derrick Nowlin, MO HD 133

Hi, I’m Derrick Nowlin. I’m excited to be running to represent Southwest Springfield. I spent my formative years playing until the lights came on in the Oak Grove neighborhood. I graduated from Glendale High School and attended Missouri State University studying physics and engineering. I was lucky to be able to raise my kids here. Now, I watch my grandchild play in the same parks I did as a kid.

As your representative, I will fight for more affordable access to healthcare, safer roads and bridges for our families, and better funded schools for our children. I will be your representative who will fight for a better tomorrow.

Rep. Betsy Fogle, MO HD 135

I have seen the obstacles faced when it comes to accessing quality care for many in our community. My goal is to be a representative of my district, of Springfield and the region - moving Missouri forward through inclusive policy and advocacy. We all deserve a community that makes us feel welcomed, safe, and supported.

Bryce Lockwood, MO HD 137

Bryce graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1982. Ordained soon after, he served as Pastor in Nixa, MO, Associate Pastor and Christian School Supervisor in Key West, FL and Associate Pastor in Springfield, MO. Finding it difficult to maintain a good lifestyle as an associate minister, Mr. Lockwood became involved in the feed and grain business, owning a small trucking company for some five years. He eventually retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers in Springfield, MO in 2003. Becoming upset with the lack of affordable health care for friends and associates, the lack of expansion of the Medicare Program after voting Missourians overwhelmingly urged their government to do so in two elections, the deterioration of our nation’s transportation networks, highways and bridges, Mr. Lockwood decided to file for the Missouri House of Representatives in the 137th District.
